This is the cassowary, a mythical bird from the most ancient forest in the southern tip of South East Asia, Queensland .
The cassowary is smaller than the emu, but it’s good at running around dense rainforest, because its boney head allows her to smash into branches at maximum speed. Her powerful claws make her quite tough on predators. She really is the queen of the Far North!
So, don’t mess with her!
